Glenn R. Skreppen is a Senior Compliance Consultant at Hardin Compliance Consulting LLC. He has worked in the securities industry for over twenty-four years. Mr. Skreppen has extensive experience in broker-dealer, investment advisor, and securities issuer regulatory compliance. He consults with clients on a wide range of securities topics, including compliance with securities laws, rules and regulations, regulatory examinations, and securities registrations and exemptions.
Prior to joining Hardin Compliance Consulting in March 2021, Mr. Skreppen served as the Director of the Bureau of Securities Compliance and Examinations for the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities (“Department”). In his official capacity, Mr. Skreppen managed enforcement, securities investigations, broker-dealer examinations, and investment advisor examinations for the Department. He reviewed all securities complaints filed with the Department and allocated resources accordingly. Mr. Skreppen worked with federal and state securities regulators, as well as federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies during securities investigations. Prior to his compliance roles, Mr. Skreppen served as the Head of Domestic Equity Trading for the Global Securities Lending Group at BNY Mellon.
Mr. Skreppen has presented as an industry expert at conferences held by the SEC, FINRA, NASAA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities. He has spoken on securities topics including regulatory examinations, securities investigations, private placements, and anti-money laundering. Mr. Skreppen served on the NASAA Enforcement Training Project Group, where he helped plan enforcement training conferences for NASAA members.
Mr. Skreppen holds the designations of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). He received a bachelor of science in Accounting from Indiana State University in 1991. In addition, he received a master of business administration with a Finance Concentration in 1994 from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.Back to Team Page
